Eugene Masselink (1910–1962) came to Taliesin West in the 1930s. He developed his own unique graphic style by creating abstract forms from nature, and became Wright’s designated muralist. This product is an adaptation of Masselink’s “Bougainvillea Mural” design.

We love them. May order a second set.
Received one box of four coasters as a gift. We liked the colorful design and the cork bottoms so much, we bought two more boxes so we have enough for small groups. However, after one year using the first 4 coasters, the colors have slowly begun to fade, and some very small spots have appeared on one coaster where the color has been scraped off. As a result we may keep these for guests and not everyday use.
